This article will guide you through the process of adding drivers to the Trucker Path navigation app using the Trucker Path command platform. By the end of this tutorial, you'll know how to add, manage, and communicate with your drivers.
Step 1: Start by clicking on the More tab located in the upper right hand corner of your screen and select Drivers.
Step 2: Here, you'll see a list of drivers that have already been added. To add a new driver, click on the Add Driver button in the upper right hand corner.
Step 3: Enter the driver's email address. Our system will generate a temporary password for the new driver.
Step 4: Fill in the rest of the driver's information, including their contact number.
Step 5: Choose a driver type based on their role within your company.
Step 6: You can also add additional contact information, such as the driver's main address, license details, and any restrictions or endorsements they have. To add multiple drivers at once, click the New button at the bottom of the page.
Step 7: Once you've filled in all the necessary information, click Save.
Step 8: An email invitation will be sent to the driver, inviting them to download the Trucker Path app and set their password. If they can't find the email, remind them to check their spam or junk folder.
Step 9: The new driver will now appear on the driver's page, where you can view their contact details, creation date, and more.
Step 10: Click on the driver's profile to view their Driver Profile page. Here, you'll find their last known location, current trip details, completed activities, hours of service, and assigned loads. You can also remind the driver to share their location via the Trucker Path app by clicking the To Remind button.
Step 11: View the driver's activity list, load history, and payment terms. You can also update their profile information and view any documents they've uploaded to the system.
Step 12: To communicate with the driver directly, click the Messaging button. If you need to edit their profile, click the Edit button in the upper right hand corner.
